New C64 Game Release - Pickaxe Pete
New Commodore64 game by Gareth Alldread. Pickaxe Pete - a conversion from the Magnavox Odyssey/Philips Videopac. The original game was designed by Ed Averett, who (according to Wikipedia) designed most of the games for the Odyssey.
"Just a quick post to let you know I completed writing a port of the game "Pickaxe Pete" for the C64 using the excellent Turbo Rascal tool."
The game is available now as a free download.

The petscii brawler features high quality speech, massive player characters and four different fighting arenas. What's more, all proceeds from the game are being donated to charity!

Haplo has released a lovely #Commodore64 port of the ancient Atari 2600 game, Spider Fighter, which was originally released by Activision in 1982.
The original game is a single screen fixed shooter, designed by Larry Miller, in which the player has to protect an orchid of fruit.
Spider Fighter also features a soundtrack by Richard Bayliss and is a free download.
