New C64 Game Release - KOMA
Phil64 has released a follow up to AMOK, winner of last years 2020 CSDB Lockdown Fun Compo.
Like it's predecessor, KOMA is a casual high score chaser which has the player surviving an ever changing playfield that is constantly changing shape. Hit the edges and you're a goner! This time, 2 players can battle it out to see who survives the longest.
KOMA was released for the CSDB C64 Fun Compo 2021 and is a free download.

Ninja Carnage is a point & click adventure game by Resistance, that has just been released for the Commodore64. The game features 28 levels, 10,000 words and has been translated into 7 languages.
"The story is based on Japanese culture, historical facts and ghost stories. The Yokai are supernatural creatures in the Japanese folklore. You’ll face many challenges, but I’m sure you’ll both be victorious…or not."

The 18th issue of the excellent K&A Plus Magazine has just been released.
"Anyway, what exactly do we have to offer you this time? Lots of in depth reviews of the latest games, a beautiful gallery of C64 graphics from Sarge, two interviews with Dave Haynie and Katon and our GameDev Story starring Bernd Buchegger and his game Outrage. As usual, we have also another part of Wacek's Demoscene, Dune 2020 article, a repairing of Amiga 600, and also ‘my struggle with the Amiga 400'. Enough spoilers, more details inside!
Right, but what about the coverdisk? As you might expect, it´s Good Old 8-Bit Games #5. Our editor Tomxx has stood up to the challenge once again and prepared another compilation of games on a 5.25" floppy disk, guaranteed to provide hours of entertainment for all the family."

Gryo Run is a brand new C64 game by TND, produced for the CSDB Fun Compo 2021.
"Gyro Run for the C64 is finished and released today. This is a fun party hi score attack in which you control a spinner by twisting a dial to the direction you wish the spinner to move, and press fire to activate the spinner. The concept is quite original and should be quite fun. It is guaranteed to get your head in the spin."

New C64 Game Releases
Tubes 'n' Balls (puzzle/logic) by System X and Space Panic (arcade) by Karmic are two games released for Richard's CSDB C64 Fun Compo 2021.
Tubes 'n' Balls is a logic/puzzle game in which you need to place sliding balls in tubes, with certain colour combinations earning maximum points.
Space Panic is a conversion of a 1982 ColecoVision game by CBS, which in turn is a conversion of a 1980 arcade game by Universal. According to Wikipedia, the arcade game was the "first game involving climbing ladders between walkable platforms".
Both games are available now as a free download from CSDB.
