Oh dear, what happened to System 3 on this title? The music is the only redeeming factor in this poor aardvark! Combat was frustrating, puzzles were dire and it played like a brick. I suppose the GFX were above average but it's a bit of a turkey given what these guys are capable of. Avoid.

System 3 doing its take on Indiana Jones series. And what an amazing game this was! Nice riddles to be solved, tense gameplay, incredibly well-designed sprites, great animation, superb music, scary and wild atmosphere. Loved every second of it! Hard to complete, especially back then while being a kid, though absolutely fascinating. A must have!

I think Tusker is one of System 3's finest so I'm surprised reading the comments here. Great action adventure with awesome music and graphics. Good gameplay and challenging puzzles (the manual gives you some hints). OK I can see someone being disappointed if one was expecting another Last Ninja...

Odd game. Atmospheric, with nice graphics, but arcade adventures always pass me by a bit. I have good memories of it, so it gets a 7

Very confusing game and as a so called follow-up of system 3 titles like vendetta or last ninja it was really crappy.

I remembered I like the music of the first level very much...
and also that, in order to end the game, you have to kill yourself at the end of the fourth level (a bug!??!) to make an enemy disappearr

Remember I borrowed this, I returned it quickly...
Nice GFX and quite exciting, but somehow I didn't like it much ..

Monty email me and tell me where you are stuck. I'll tell you what to do then.
I think I have a hunch though... There is a door on level two which is locked with a chain. You need to open it by using your sword in the 'punch' move (Fire+Joystick Up).

It is a System 3 game and it is superb. Brilliant graphics as usual. Music is great, among the finest tunes for the 64. Game-play is everlasting fun and challenging. This is a competitor to the Last Ninja series, that's for sure. GREAT GAME !!!

Dunno, this game did work as a last ninja subsitute, when the ninjas were played through.

i liked it, nice atmosphere and music.

Okay, it's like... Indiana Jones on bad valium. This game is initially frustrating, if only because you're in control of a cool Indiana Jones rip-off who spends most of his days in the sun (and caves) just... A-walkin' the Earth. Action is not his middle name. In fact, if he HAD a middle name, it might be "Steve". Whenever action does occur, it's usually sudden, quick and followed closely by a puzzle or two to solve. The atmosphere is great though and the graphics are fantastic. But when you're all dressed up (with a gun, a whip and a machete) with no place to go or face to slice... It can get you down. Especially when the loading times are a-draggin'. Tusker... What a game!
