Whats going on with the jumping in this game? I persevered only to be done by the sodding time limit! - games were tough in the 8 bit generation!

A mix of styles which follows other Ocean tie-ins from those years such as Darkman or Terminator 2; big sprites, a blend of shmup and platform game, plus a couple of driving sections a-la 5th Gear. Platform sections would be alright if it wasn't for the bouncing-backwards thing when you hit an object, very annoying; driving sections are hard and kinda bland to look at. Nice atmospheric music score, very cool still sequences in the intro/ending and in between levels. Decent effort, but kinda lackluster and not much fun.

Terrific intro and end screens. Not bad graphics and sounds. If only it didn't have the stupid "jump forwards" movement it would have been so much better.

Found the first level to be far too fiddly and hard to bother persevering. Nice graphics tho...

The bottomline is - platform level (1 and 4) are really good, but too hard. Car levels (2 and 3) are only too hard :P

This here includes one of the best music in C64 history. The gameplay... Well... Not so good. It's much too hard. First level is OK, but jumping is quite irritating. I can't finish level 2, so I will have to cheat:) I'm really curious what latter levels are... 6/10 for now.

I enjoyed this game too...

Nice music also!

But I never got past level 2 without cheating! :fear:

I liked this game, even tho I knew it sucked. I remember playing it quite a lot. I liked the platfor elements, the driving levels where OK, But where pretty tough. I remember beating it tho, you get to see a cool image of the bosses eyes popping outa his head when he is blasted onto the surface of mars. The Music was pretty neat, but must Ocean music was pretty good. I guess something had to warrent forking out hard earnt pocket money on crappy movie licence ocean games.

It was all right. A bit like navy seals, wasn't it? Did games share game engines back then?

A total turkey in my opinion. Cant "recall" any good memories of this at all. :(

This was a very good game. The platform section was quite difficult (but ok) while the car section was utterly difficult, never passed it

Once again a game I bought because Turrican 2 was out of stock. The graphics are big if blocky, the music is dark and suits the atmosphere well. Once you know how to control Arnie, you fly through the game. It can be finished within 10 minutes.

This game redefines what "tough" means.

The platform sections are extremely well designed - give even freedom of choice as for the path! Not usual... - and nicely drawn, with beautiful characters animations.
Vote: 9

The car parts suck quite much, mostly because of the stupid control method.

Overall: 7 or 8...
