Time Machine

This is one of those games that are difficult to judge; on one side, it's got exceptionally good graphics and animations as well as an ambitious concept; on the other, the puzzles were really too cryptic to solve without any hints. Even looking at a longplay on youtube today, it's still confusing, and it's crazy to think that it could actually be completed in 10 minutes; disappointing ending too. Still, back in the days it impressed me a lot and I spent quite some time on it.

I wanted to find 'Time Machine' - the adventure. But this is the only time machine in the database. Shame! This is a really good game thou. One can see the Last Ninja graphics routine at work. And great music by mr. Walker!

I never bothered with this back in the day, although I always remember the review in Zzap! 64. Having checked it out, using a C64 emulator, all I can say is, its not all that obvious what the player is supposed to do. The graphics look great, and possibly use the same display technique as the Last Ninja (they draw themselves onto the screen object by object, using as little time as possible).

The puzzles were just TOO extreme unless you had devised them yourself... Pity.. Would have been a cool game... All in one load tho is possibly the most I have seen crammed in the 64 before

Weird game, I never figure out what was the point.
But great realisation either.
Maybye I was too stupid at the time (or I had too many game to test)... So I give a 8/10.

Puzzle solving suffered from unclear graphics (it was easier to figure out what was going on in the Amiga version), but even then had somewhat dodgy detection, rendering solutions hard to perform.

Well, nice graphics and nice music but god it was downright impossible to know what to do without some guidances! I wandered aimlessly in the jungle without having a clue about what I was doing and finding the only fun in zapping things and dying in quicksand. But still, it was fun!

TOM: The game you are looking for is TIME CRYSTAL. I personally never saw it being for sale, but nearly all had the packed (2 parts) version from the 1001 CREW. The "game" had excellent stunning graphics but was totally unplayable I recall... You want a copy ? Mail me at [email protected]

I am looking for a game that had a time machine in it (time capsule or flying saucer). I am not sure if it was even really a game because I could never get past the first playable screen. It started with pretty cool music and this sort of "magic carpet" begining/intro except the colours were solid giving the player a sort of time warping effect I guess. The first level presented you with a flyable pod, a jungle to move around in, and one angry red dinosaur (T-Rex). The graphics are simular to this game here but I don't recall any people in it. Maybe it was just some kind of tech. Demo because they did revile the amiga's graphics at the time.

Fantastic graphics, great (ableit 1 tune) music and can be sometimes mind boggling, plus all in one load... A classic if you ask me!

Massive game with excellent graphics, among the best I've seen on the 64. Brilliant game. Fun as hell to play.

Am I remembering this game right, or am I confusing this with another one? The game I remember had like, a Greek part (with Medusa), a caveman part, a western part maybe with a horse and feedbag... And a little gnome going around everywhere... Tell me I'm not dreaming this!

And the game is really good.

I had this game when I had my comodore 64 I liked the game a lot I was playing it heaps not knowing what I was doing or how I was doing even how I was ment to do it but I still enjoyed this game a lot I reckomend it to other people looking for games.
