I remember how difficult it was to play this game, which was one of the most fabulous looking on the AMIGA / ST. To vanquish the PODS, you had to mine raw materials here, refine them there and pick up the finished weapons and supplies elsewhere. Meanwhile, you had to fend off the PODS and protect your facilities permanently! (all presented in sprite-based 3D!!!) I liked especially the way the strategic elements seamlessly connected to the action. On the C64, the trading / building etc. Had actually been faithfully reproduced, yet since the graphics could not possibly match up to those of the 16-bit versions, the C64-conversion was quite underrated.
