No Bard's Tale but a thoroughly entertaining game that can be played for hours!

A valiant attempt to put DND onto home micros. The writings decent and the game itself is functional. Superseded by the Gold Box Games but still a fun way to spend an afternoon. 8/10

First proper attempt at a commercial Rogue-like for the 64. Graphics are ok but I found it a bit boring after a while, just not enough surprises or interesting monsters to break the monotony.

In my opinion, a better game than the original. If you haven't played the original already, play this one. The updated graphics and sound really make it more enjoyable than it already is.

Good game and much better music and graphics then the original versions. Too bad I didn't get into it as much since I had already finished the original versions of the trilogy.

"A monster found thee and ate thee for lunch. " I loved this game. My favourite part was bargaining with the innkeeper and hearing his complaints. "Thou takist food from my children's mouths! " "I laugh at thy paltry offer. " "Ha! 'Tis less than I paid for it! "

I used to make games like this on the Commodore using Adventure Construction Set. The music on this game ruled! I still boot it up just to hear the theme song.

I used to enjoy this. But, 1985 was still early days for the C64 and I soon found more enjoyable RPGs to play in later years.

I had this game. (It was on a disk)

Fun game! Amused me for several days, but what freaked me out was that when the guy would die, he literally fell into pieces! O_o

Very fun game - lots of gameplay, and excellent music to boot.

2nd game I bought for my new disk drive - A game that had me hooked and a great introduction to exploration / RPG games - the game holds up well even now - pity the graphics and sound do not - Still great to relive your past with

I just like the music in this one. The theme song is cool.
