One of the best adventures on the 64.

Only 5 comments for one of the most wonderful graphic adventures of all time?! Proves that this genre isn't for the masses! Never mind Gramps, rest assured it was fantastic!

One of my all-time favorite graphic adventures. Funny and strange with great puzzles. Snarl was such a great villian. And ennio, well, ENNIO, is the best dog ever.

If you played it and loved and where amazed at it, like me, you cannot give it less than 10, because you cannot compare it with literally any other adventure on the C64 or any other gaming machine! This game is the radicalist, so give it less than 10/10 and i'll set Franklin Snarl onto you! :)

This is essentially a text adventure game with an icon-driven interface and some pretty animated illustrations. I remember playing this when I should have been revising for my GCSE mocks! It has a wonderfully surreal atmosphere. I keep meaning to convert it into an Inform-based IF and expand upon it slightly. Perhaps one of these days...

I had this game on the Amiga so I wasn't going to comment on the C64 version but this is such a good graphic/IF game. Pretty much what most people thought the future would look like from 80's eyes (though the game takes place in a parallel universe. )
It's not the biggest IF game out there, maybe 40-60 total rooms, but there was like 2 things to do in each.. Get your hair cut with a dye cut diarama, buy hoops that are "tass" with guitar picks (the money of Tass Town. ) The only thing I never understood is why the people would let a evil croc not only live in town, but run the pet shop.. This is simply an AMAZING game! Great, original storyline, beautiful animated graphics, and some tough puzzles. The music still runs in my head. I was always so nervous that snarl was just around the corner. I still have a button that says 'i smell snarlmeat' in my room somewhere. I was sad when I finally completed it, I wanted to keep playing...
