It's quite surprising that by '94 there were still some C64 games released commercially, and this one is also a pretty good effort. A bit of puzzles to solve (quite easy ones) and a bit of beat 'em up action; sprites are big and backgrounds look great, animations are nice also. An in-game music would have helped, since the gameplay is pretty static, being divided by screens that need 15-20 seconds to load every time. That is a bit of a pain, though you can try the crack on cartridge which speeds up the proceedings considerably and makes the flow of the game way better. Nice title tune. My correct vote would be 7.5 ...

The EasyFlash version is much more playable due to the much faster loading between screens. Added a disk version to the release. I'm assuming it was never released on tape.

I gave this game a 7 instead of 9 or 10, because I appreciate the great music, the great everything, but I can't stand the fact, that this game is load every single screen. It doesn't take so long, but come on! I want to play fluently 10 or 15 screens, not only one, and then load! It's bad. This game was made in 1995, I can't understand why the creators couldn't squeeze at least 8 screens to the memory. It's a pity...
7/10

Oh, and this game was commercially released too, I thought in the US too. I own the original case ;-)

And it's still not marked as a legit release. 3 years after first requested :D

A very good game, impeccable athmosphere, interesting gameplay.. One of Verlag's finest games. Some respawn problems and collisions but it's OK.

Gorgeous graphics, but the gameplay isn't the world's greatest.

I remember that I played this game on the Amiga when it came out.. The grafik is almost the same on the Amiga as here in the c-64 game... I remember that the gameplay was not the best.. Newer get past a big stupid guy on a bridge.. Must try it again someday if I find the game :)
