I love it on Amiga it was one of the favorite. DO NOT EVER TRY THAT IF YOU LOVE IT. It is like day and night. Amiga? Cool music, cool control, cool gfx, cool game play C64? NONE it's is a crap. I love this game I really but MF should give the game to IKARI or FLT or some cracked group to make it. This is just plain stupid this way. It has so much in it and missing like 70% of it on C64 :(((

Fun and effective, scrolling "Super Sprint" type racer. Rather sexist "cheat" mode though.

This was one of the best racers back then.

I'd give it 11 if I could. :P

Fun to play: no matter that graphics are repetitive and too basic and with one of the worst effects I heard on a car game, but surprisingly, competitions are really addictive.

Very fun game to play. A tad easy but still one of my favourite top view racers on the C64.

Sluggish controls, gfx, SFX OK, 7/10.

I agree that graphics don't have to be shiny, but this one is ugly. "Super cars"? Haha, more like plastic cars. The game is far too easy, too. It's boring.

I was a bit disappointed that SOUT (programmer of Cosmic Causeway, etc. , and programmer of the Amiga version of Super Cars) did not do the C64 version. It doesn't look very nice, there is only one single music, and you can't deal with the car sales guy. Nevertheless I enjoyed it.

C64 version was the best version!! What with this and 'slicks' the C64 had great top down racers. Badlands and Ivan Ironman's were also nifty.

I liked the Amiga version a great deal, but the C64 version sucked big time! Boring!

Fondle the shop girl?? Hahaha! Well, anyway, nice racing game with the usual bunch of nifty Ben Daglish tunes. Too bad the car in the actual game didn't look that much super :D

You can try this game now:

"Magnetic Fields (formerly Mr. Chips Software) also have this to say regarding their own titles: "Anyone wishing to use any of (their) 8-bit titles may do so providing that they are not used for commercial gain. Also, if anyone has these titles available for download on the internet, we would appreciate a link back to the Magnetic Fields website. " Their list includes such classics as Cosmic Causeway, Kikstart II, Pacmania and LOTS more! "

Okay Paul, this game is a favorate of mine too! Unfortunately it too easy (I completed this game easily, but p. E. The Amiga version was (fortunately) way harder).
