It clearly tries to ape Spy Hunter, but the screen is so small you can't see what's ahead of you. Worse, driving too fast makes the car uncontrollable and that gets you wiped pretty easily.
With the fun elements gone, you have to play very conservatively. That just makes the game difficult and somewhat tedious - which is a shame because the game has some good new ideas.

I quite liked the idea of releasing a game based on a licence to an OLD movie. You would expect a truly devoted gaming experience. Yet it remains a nice idea, nothing more.

Far too similar to licence to kill. Domark were never my favourite software label. They shoiuld have done a James Bond more in the style of Oceans Sly spy.

Forgot to ask this in my previous post. It seems that all versions of this game common. Although, it seems that a PC version of The Spy Who Loved Me is incredibly rare. Does anybody know why?

In my opinion, this is No. 2 on the list of worst James Bond game in the history of James Bond games. The No. 1 spot goes to the 1993 game "James Bond: The Duel". I'm pretty sure the only reason they put the option to go faster in this game was just so you could die faster. When you go as fast as your vehicle can go, you can't even see what's in front of you! I remember there being something called a "Q Truck" which was original. As the poster below said there are really no sound effects. In my opinion, this is not a James Bond game at all. When I play the first level with the civilians in it I feel like I'm playing Grand Theft Auto... Sadly, the entire game takes place in your Lotus Espirit which wasn't the greatest idea. The idea of this game sounds decent in paper but when it is brought to the computer it's just... Horrible. Also, if anybody has the IBM PC version of this game please contact me.

Nothing too cool at all. The faster you drive the hard it is too see in front of you and obviously your idea is too knock pedestrians off the road. There is little sound and no engine noise... This game belongs to the dogs!
