I used to watch the tv programme and then played the Amiga version and it was a very challenging game but is very playable with some effort and the C64 version is the same as well. A class act if you give it time.

If this had Lewis Collins in it instead of that gimp shaw it would be 10/10 - instead of 7/10.

This takes a lot of practice to master. Especially that hurdle run. Graphics and music is good, but the controls could be a lot tighter.

Excellent racing game on land and water, with tons of variety in vehicles. Even playing this by yourself is a lot of fun. A winner!

A very nice MP game. This is one of the best when playing with some friend. You're bound to be cursing, swearing and laughing throught the game.

I just played this with my brother on real C64 and it was just as fun as back then in good old days. I struggled in Hill event - as usual - but guess what my brother did? Came up with
his best result ever in it and it's been, what, 10 years since we last had played the game! One of the best multi-event games ever and that's a fact.

It;s a very very long time I've played it, but I know I really liked the driving parts a LOT, the running were not my fav parts of the game, But I have some memories of this game I've liked it very much.

The last game I was tracking now, and I found it!!! As I remember, great gameplay, especially the racing and speedboat parts. The running and climbing was also very great, altough it kinda wrecks your joystick. But great in two player mode (as I recall well, I thought there was a two player option)

Nice stunning Close-up overhead Racing graphics. And quite good but it suffers from being to close to the action making high speeds rather difficult :|

It's a pretty good game indeed! The buggy and speedboat events in the game have great gameplay. I only hated the running and climbing event, the controls were way to difficult for that part. It seems like someone else programmed it. 7/10

It's a short memory, but a clear one. I've only ever played this game ONCE! It was at some guys house. You know - the sort of guy with a million computers in his bedroom, copying floppy disks at $5 a piece? These software-mongers were a dime a dozen in the mid eighties and one of them coppied us Run The Gauntlet. But when we got it home - it was, well... It didn't work. Syntax Error or something. Nevertheless - the memory of that ONE time I played it still floats positively in my head. Yeah, it's a pretty good game. Even if it didn't work.
