Ashamed to show it to my NES owning friends. That version looked a lot less blocky.
Colours gave me a headache also..
I'd saved up for ages to buy this game and thought it was going to be awesome, I put in the cartridge and the game loaded straight away (oooh the novelty back then). Sadly the game was a garish cartoony job. It did keep me occupied for a few months though, never did finish it in the end.
I own the NES version, and I have also played the C64 and gameboy versions, but this is hard to control with a joystick, it needs the NES gamepad to be played with.
the music in this game is exellent, and it has pretty colourful graphics and orginal level design.
But, this game is thoug to beat. Personally, I think that the gameboy version is best playable when it comes tho contol.
