There's actually 2 different versions for the C64: The first release (with the brown road), is completely broken.
You can park yourself just off centre of the right side of the road and keep pressing fire- you'll beat the game in less than 2 minutes...
The later release which has a blue road, has this problem fixed and is generally a more polished game, it has different main sprites as well.

Someday Melbourne House got infamous for producing games that looked far better than they actually were... What a pity.

I remember the first Amiga screenshots of this games and it looked great. I think the C64 version was a bridge too far!

@Francis - thanks for your honesty and no disrespect intended!

With the name, I was hoping for a game in a Mad Max type setting. Even the cover art, minus the outer space style features, is reminiscent of some of the promotional material for Mad Max 2. But, the game is nothing like I hoped.

I agree.. I wrote it and it was total crap.. !!!
But that's what happens when you are told what to write as opposed to letting your artistic qualities flow!!!

Total crap :( instructions were vague and the gameplay even more vague! Nothing made any kind of sense. Tossed it into the trash quickly...

Eh eh this is one of my old games. Never played it more than 1, 4 seconds. Don't ask me why.
Just try to imagine it.
