One of those games you were lured to buy as a kid because of the good graphics and intriguing subject, but ended up being a piece of crap. The rabbit ninja moves sluggishly to say the least, almost gave me an anxiety attack to play through this chore. The rabbit can't even turn to one side or the other, it goes backwards always facing right; the moves are pretty useless and combat is depressing, sort of hit and retreat, otherwise you get killed fast. No in-game music, no ending sequence of any sort; total borefest.

A game I played (badly) often as a kid. I remember buying the brand new cassette like it was yesterday!

Absolutely terrible game! Nice graphics, but no in-game music, poor FX, and no playability at all: only a few moves are available which all seem to have the same effect (and have the same score); the rabbit moves slowly, and it all gets very repetitive and boring after just a few fights.
A Usagi Yojimbo wannabe (failing miserably).

P. S. : the rabbit CANNOT turn around, he can only move fordward or retreat, always facing right!

The change in graphics between the levels is good, but the fighting is extremely limited and boring, which is pretty catastrophic for a beat-em up.

I was very impressed with the graphics at the time. Shame that the game was terrible.

Stick to Usagi Yojimbo if you want karate chopping bunnies... :fear:

Quite liked this game even though the gameplay was repetitive and tiring and you're greeted with a "Rewind tape and press play" message for an ending. Graphics and music are fairly decent.
