Overall it's good but not great.

I have to admit that I like Nemesis 1 on both computers. Both versions have ups and downs..
Ofcourse the jerky scrolling kind of ruins the
And the Commodore Nemesis is fabulous because almost everything is in it, and all in one load! Plus the graphics, scrolling and enemies are very smooth and pretty nice detailed.
Main ship looks best on the Commodore 64! WOO
and the colored sprites aren't that great on the C64. :-/
... And the title screen... Yeah... Someone forgot to finish coloring it.
plus, no load times from cartridge! WOO
Monochrome sprites with floaty walking and AWFUL scrolling ... But good music

Seriously, why are all one's weapons and power-ups taken away after the ship is destroyed by the nasties?
This aspect of the game is INFURIATING but I suppose it is a pretty good incentive not to get wasted.
Some good graphics on this one, a taste of things to come in the shape of Delta etc.
And last not least Nemesis simply plays very well.
Why is this so high and those much better games so low?
