Now this is odd: an arcade conversion that's more difficult than the arcade! Ms. Pacman is a pleasant, challenging surprise, and despite the odd control niggle, this is one of the best versions of the game available for any classic system. ****

Not quite as good as the arcade version, but still a very good version of Ms. Pac-Man. I like the game personally. :mspacman:

Me too I was in doubt when I heard screaming my future wife "fan" and the sister of my best friend during ms pacman poursuit.
but I became addicted too when playing with her
we've get a cheated version with max 25 lives
i don't remember if we generally start with 3 or 4 lives but it was harder than the paying arcade. Here the ghosts hunt

with a max of 5 lives
my best was 125000

but "fan" did 170170

who did better???
near the end some pacgum make only change the colour of the ghosts for 1/2 second and in the last grid (changing from the 3rd and the 4th) a very very slow ms pacman

what a classic !!!

There's very little that need be said about Ms. Pac Man. Everyone knows how good the game is and the 64 conversion is one of the best out there. It's faithful to the original in graphics and sound and as a result, bloody good fun. The best thing about this conversion is that you don't need to wait in line at the arcade and you don't need a roll of quarters!

Pacman is a classic concept, it's very basic yet addictive, but it hasn't aged very well. It more or less belongs to the age of Donkey Kong. This version here has crappy controls and is too difficult. Like most Pacman games, it's very limited. :(

Very nice conversion of the arcade game. AtariSoft (the fork of Atari who ported games to Apple, Commodore, Colecovision, INTV, etc. ) did a spectacular job in keeping the graphics, sound, and gameplay as faithful as they could. My only complaint was that the sound effects were a bit on the loud side. Other than that a very nice conversion

An excellent conversion from the arcade. I could barely tell the difference between the two in terms of graphics and sound. Obviously, I spent hours playing this game. At the time, people who did not have a 64 were often jealous by seeing some of my 64 games. Their Apple II games were inferior in terms of graphics and sound. Even many Nintendo games didn't look or sound better than 64 games.

What would we have today if it was not for the Pac Man games, a great improvement on the original.

A excllent conversion of the arcade classic. Graphics don't quite match up to the original but very close. When I first saw it at the arcade, I thought Ms Pac Man was too "wussy" for guys to play. But I tried it anyway and got hooked on the damn thing like everyone else did at the time. I had a freind who hacked this game using some kind of disc editing program, so at the beginning of each round the game would say "EAT ME" instead of "READY! ".

Pacman, the mother of all games. Here we see Pacman as a mother, Yeah as Ms. Pacman. It is pacman... You know what it is all about...

Great conversion of the classic... Great for wasting some hours...

This is a very close to arcade perfect conversion of ms. Pacman. It is so close that the tricks and patterns I learned on the C64 version enabled me to get very very far on the arcade original that was sitting in a laundrette in Imperial Missouri USA way back in 1993.

This is Ms. Pac-Man at her best. The sound is a little to loud in this C64 version but hey just turn down the volume. But an O. K. Translation by C64 standards.
