A very underrated game. In my top 5 all-time fave C64 games. 9/10

One of my favourite computer games on ANY platform, EVER! That's quite a statement, but seriously... Kwik Snax is the definition of nostalgia for me as I loved this game upon first playing it in the very early 90s (I'm 37 now!). The graphics are good, music great and controls/gameplay excellent. Happy memories...

Also just occurred to me that that "92% Crash" Smash quoted on the cover is for the Spectrum game (nothing unusual there, a common Codemasters tactic) though this time it is for a game that is completely different and not just one with normal system variation.

The only problem with this game is it is TOO EASY other than that I loved it and still do. Only Dizzy game that was unique on any system and a nice use of the Dizzy branding / theme. Much better than the Kwik Snax game that is on all other systems. I remember being disappointed when I got it on the Amiga only to find it wasn't the game I loved and completed on the '64. The combination of Pacman and Flicky is spot on. Good choice for fans of either and a must have for fans of both. A under-rated gem. :pacman: :pacman: :pacman:

A hybrid of Pac-Man and Flicky leaves us with a game that never reaches the fun of either.

A different approach to a Dizzy game which wasn't too bad IIRC. Cute enough GFX and sfx. Could do a lot worse than giving this a few shots. Oh, and the ending wasn't bad either! :)

Strange (but consistent) how C64 programmers never felt compelled to at least acknowledge when they had ripped off a classical soundtrack (Also cf. "Sheep in Space" and "Sanxion" ). Still, one of the best updates of the basic Pac-Man concept, easily trouncing such efforts as "Fast Food" and "Exorcist". The different monster characters and facial expressions of the main sprite create a very cartoon-like atmosphere despite the simple graphics, there is an impressive array of bonuses and pickups (not to rival "Bubble Bobble", but certainly to outshine "Fast Food" ), intermission games such as the weapons room and net scenes add variety, and the difficulty is quite well balanced (I have won it fairly, but not without great effort and some swearing, which is probably as it should be).

I thought the little creatures were called Fluffles? Not flumpies.

Anyway, cute music, fun to play and quite hard on the later levels. Especially with a dodgy joystick. Them was the days!

Nice little game with good music. Worth playing

Although nothing at all to do with the Dizzy adventure game series, Kwik Snax is an enjoyable an original puzzle game.

You must lead 8 'flumpies' away from the clutches of the enemies on the level and to safety in as fast a time as possible. The more flumpies you delivery to safety in one go, the higher your reward!

Good use of cartoony graphics and an array of bonus items, sub-games and secrets will keep you playing Kwik Snax for a long while.

This game is horrible.
The colours alone will burn your eyes.
The gameplay is crap - what is that thing, an egg?
