A well produced puzzler but patience and interest wears thin after a while because it's an essentially just another derivative puzzle game and not an exciting one at that.

Sad thing about the Commodore 64 is that there isn't very often an anime game for this home computer. While you win one mine, you get to see an image of some anime chick for a prize. Hope you enjoy the hentai. ;)

Gem'X is a coin 'up conversion of the Taito puzzler. The C64 version is very good indeed. It captures the game perfectely and it'll give your brain a pretty good work-out! Graphically pretty good and sonically brilliant! The music of The Master of Sonix Chris Huelsbeck is very very good (it makes you wanna put the game on hold (no cheating allowed in this game unfortunately!) to enjoy the music!). I missed the speech of the original though, but hey... We can't get it all on our trusty C64! If you like a good and original puzzler, try this!

Graphics: 8/10
Sound: 9/10 (actually: 9, 5!)
Playability: 9/10

Overall: 9/10 :D

I can't remember whether the game was any good, but I did have the crush on the Bunny girl, and you got to see her in a bathtub etc throughout the game.

This should have been a try to imitate the japanese puzzle-games like Columns. They succeeded. 9/10
