Ahhh... One of the classic Games I badly wished for during my Childhood but could never afford it at these Times. Think SSI made the best RPGs available on C64 Machine and was the Reason why I buyed Unlimited Adventures later on on PC just to get the old Feeling back. Playing it ATM and its still a lot of Fun.

Curse and Gateway had the same file system. One could load curse PCs into gateway. Items would be scrambled if they were not known to gateway. The same was true for PCs that were of higher level than the game supports.

Great game. Real fun solving it. I found it not quite as hard to finish as for example Pool of Radiance or Champions of Krynn, but lots of fun anyway. If anyone needs maps or a solution, contact me.

This must been the last one out of the ad&d 9 games series, I watched my cousin play curse of the aztec bonds a lot, they never made dark queen of krynn for C64, remember when hills was around and they had games, very tough, internet has most, what about battletech, wish had that much money

The AD&D Gold Box series by SSI were some of the best RPGs back in the day. I spent countless hours on these games, adventuring and building up characters until my party was an unstoppable fighting force. Great stuff.

Just cool! I love this kind of RPG. I think old style RPG such as this serie made for C64 in the 80's is the best of the kind. The closest to original RPG. It is impossible to understand the feeling, the depth and the entire atmosphere the game build around the player until you don't try to play it. I still spend entire Sunday afternoons (and evening... ) to play and replay AD&D on the Commodore 64...
