Slightly more polished than the official C64 Gauntlet conversion. Even three players was possible. Only thing was that the game suffered from bad level design. You'd get mobbed by demons on every level and hacking through them endlessly wore very thin after a while. Additionally the ability to take potions and boost your player stats was a nice idea, but due to the level design you'd rarely be able to upgrade yourself anyway. Such a shame.

A blatant ripoff but a very well done ripoff. I found the player movement and control to be actually superior to Gauntlet.

Was it a demo version of Fire king/Demon stalkers?
Try them, really better and deeper.
here's a decent scrolling but an ugly gameplay; enemies are faster than your movements/bulletts: it's frustrating. So-so graphics. Overused idea tho

In 1987, Rainbow Arts were the kings of stealing: First came Great Giana Sisters - banned by court. Then Katakis - a revision was forced. But this time, they copied so perfectly, the Amiga version even got promoted to the official Gauntlet conversion. On the Commie, it's good for those who can't get enough of the originals.

Very nice Gauntlet Clone, Its worth the download.
