Flight Simulator II

Great game, very good flight simulator for C64

25th Anniversary this year of the 1984 release of the Commodore 64 version of the great Flight Simulator II! I still have this game and am still amazed at how they managed to make this game run on a C64! If only we had programmers of that calibre today working on 2009 games!!! An ever-so-easy 10/10 from me for this programming - and entertaining - masterpeice!

Very good flight sim, especially on a c-64, top job.

It still amazes me that SubLogic was able to create such a complex and accurate flight simulator on the Commodore 64.

A great game... But I didn't think it would evolved to what it is today... '2004 a century of flight'

This is a great game. I went up in a single engine plane and got to fly it. The pilot remarked that I must have flown before. "Nope", I told him, "I used a flight simulator on my computer. "

This game teached me how to fly. Eventually I got my PPL-licence and my instructor was quite impressed how I learned to use VOR's and NBD's so quickly and easily. Flying real plane was ease after mastering this piece. Great work thank sublogic and Bruce Artwick

A classic flying game

When I ordered this game, I called the store every day for a month to see if it had came in. I played it obsessively. Today I fly for a regional airlne, I always said that all those computer games would get me somewhere...

One of the most advanced and realistic flight simulators ever made. The promotion of the game told us that if you could handle this one, you could actually fly a real plane. (not very likely, but anyway... ) Graphics are superb and the sound is great too. Great game-play.

This was the game that made me buy my C64. It started it all!

This game introduced me into flying simulators! Pure nostalgia if you compare it to MS flight simulator 2002!

This great game is pure nostalgia for the FS lovers.
