It's been said that this is a Pac-Man clone, and there are some elements that do echo that game, the mazes and the monsters. However it's just too slow and seems unbalanced.
It's not a bad game, but there are plenty of better ones out there. For the best Dizzy spinoff, check out Kwik Snax.
Cynical to say the least.
