As other have wrote, hard to describe in words.
The player sorta frame in squares by moving slide doors don't find the way out of each level, and stay out of the way from the... Box monster that follow you around.
A game that can be hard to lay down, it has something special too it

A simple yet unique and brilliant game. Probably my favorite Synapse title.

Lord of the Flies considers this one psychedelic, esa calls it a "mindfuck". Well, I wish to add: No wonder our generation appears to be so, er, spaced out...

Very exciting and psychedelic game! If you like games, or at least psychedelic stuff, you really shouldn't miss this one. 8 of 10!

I remember this game vaguely. I think I remember you have to track the face in a box or something? But I remember having a little fun playing this. I'm going to try it again.

Another one from the Department of Tripped-out Gameplay.. Weird characters, strange concept, unrelenting action and THOSE SOUNDS.. Only when you've played this with headphones blaring for at least 1/2 hour you can give a rightful review. I did and hence, I give it a double thumbs up!

A very psyched out version of Amidar including some of the strangest sounds ever to be heard on C64. The atmosphere borders on the verge of utter insanity... Especially when you lose your last life and the screen explodes into garbled noises and strange faces.

Best enjoyed when in that special state of mind...

GREAT GAME!!!

Very depresive game. I remember, after 5 minutes of playing, I was very frustrated and have had suicidal tendencies. Very good and athmospheric piece of software!

I was only 4 when my father got a C64 for us lol

It was something with a face or so if you made the right boxes or so, I'm gonna get this game for my emulator and see what I thought what was so scary :P

Another game we all could do without. There is nothing good about this game.

Wow this is an unsusal game! Still, it's one that I keep going back to when I manage to hook up the old machine...

Another c-64 classic! I think many of the early c-64 games are better than the "newer" ones!
Ghoulie 2002-05-27
I agree you Devin. It is incredibly playable and so addictive. Absolutely one of the top 5 C-64 games. Played it in 80's, 90's, 00's, and will propably play in 10's too :)

You just can't go wrong with Synapse, and this may well be their best C-64 release ever. You guide your Drelb through a grid of revolving doors, closing off rectangles and avoiding the scowl-faced enemies that patrol the grid. Every so often, a window opens up in one of the completed rectangles; entering these will drop you to an underground cavern full of Drelbs you must free from a dragon. Also be on the lookout for a woman's face that periodically appears in rectangles; touching this gives you bonus points. Highly addictive and deeply imaginative, this is one of the best games ever on the C-64, hands down. If you've never played it, you owe it to yourself to give it a spin. Save the Drelbs!
