Game is tough and almost too fast.
But maybe that's just me complaining cause I suck at this game. Gotta practice more.
Recommended!
From what I've read (back in the day in Zzap and on here, more recently) I'm glad I opted for this over DD at the time. I played that arcade and really enjoyed it so may have been very disappointed with that conversion.

7/10 Well executed arcade conversion that doesn't quite hi the target. Good try.
this is a great beater! Nice amount of moves, and good level of difficulty.
My favourite bit is the awesome startup tune on the "Press Fire To Start" screen.
Just me and a friend beating the game.
This version isn't that bad... But the power of the Arcades crushed the C64 version
I liked it more than the first Double Dragon which I remember waiting to arrive for months after I'd ordered it. John Dunn's music was sweetly oriental yet unobtrusive in the overall context of the game.
Play the arcade again now, and you'll realise this is the truth!
It's also far to easy - just jump and do a high kick to take out any of the characters.
