Fantastic game! Graphics and sound are impressive, with gigantic details (look at that creature in level 1) and end of the level bosses, plus some awesome tunes by Walker. Playability is excellent and the difficulty curve is reasonable for once. Very atmospheric and tense, I prefer it to the very similar - and nonetheless great - Saint Dragon. Among the best shoot 'em ups on the C64 for my taste.

So far my favorite C64 shmup. The difficultly level is its main plus point, it isn't mercilessly hard like most C64 shooters. The challenge builds slowly and fairly over the stages.

You also get: Some parallax scrolling, great graphics (watch those sticky reeds wobble as you go through them in stage 2), music and SFX at the same, well designed huge bosses and power ups for your dragon..

Very playable and accessible. Gets a 9 from me

Ash & Dave - finally making it BIG! Deserved it IMO - they were always good at design and made things look good. Teaming up with Martin Walker was a step in right direction. Always liked his music - having more depth than MON (J. Bjerregard being an exeption).

I really love this shooter, good early 90's arcade-feeling music, it isn't too hard yet isn't too difficult either - a perfect shooter IMO!

On any system I always found the gameplay being spoiled by the far too large dragon.

Love this one--to me, it's a lot like the Amiga version as well--both have the same difficulty and playability, and music. Very enjoyable. I couldn't ask for more.

Really good playability, good graphics, animations, great music in game.. Nice athmosphere. No extremely difficult, IMO.. In a word.. Overlooked! Try it.

This is a :censored: ace game. I love it, despite the long Cyberloading times :)

This entertaining and mildly inventive shoot 'em up was nicely converted by Ash 'n' Dave - what a shame they didn't do some of the games Tiertex mauled. One of the plethora of great horizontally scrolling C64 shoot 'em ups, with the music perhaps the highlight.

A fairly decent shooter with a couple of problems in level 4 (randomly killed for no reason whatsoever). Beautiful sprites, sound that puts even the Amiga version to shame and a really nice concept.

I agree with the reviewer (and with Francesco). I only played this game on an emulator, and I had a good time. It is no Armalyte of course, but it really ranks among the best C64 shooters. And again Martin Walker did an excellent job (Martin, where are you now?)

Excellent. This game never got the attention it deserved. Exciting music and good graphics contributed to create in it a mythological atmosphere. I enjoyed it very much when I was a child. It is really worth a download.
