Overall: 8
The in-game music by Dave Lowe is simply a joy to listen to, and the graphics are very nicely done with colourful character sprites which animate smoothly.
The overall level design and enemy positions are mostly replicated fairly well from the arcade version.
It is a shame that some of the weapons are missing (like the shovel) and likewise you can't kick the logs or crates along the ground towards your enemies like the arcade version. There also seems to be a bug where you can only pick up weapons from a certain direction.
As mentioned in other reviews, the way your enemies almost always "duck" your attacks feels like a cheap move by the developers to artificially ramp up the difficulty and drag the game out.
played this a heap back in the day! But unfortunately I have to say it was perfect! But it was fun!
Throwing that dart thing at my mate ruled!
Great tunes too.
8/10
At least this one offered much more of a challenge and better moves.
