Do not be fooled by the simple graphics and sounds, cos this game has plenty of surprises in store. There are six different areas to explore, items to pick up, boss battles and puzzles. Be sure to read the docs carefully, you will need all the hints you can get. It may take some time to master the controls, especially the jump mechanics. I don't agree with the first reviewer. Denny's Quest is not bad, it's the good kind of jank. Recommended.

Terrible game, it would have been below average even in 1984 but in 1994? Seriously? Besides lack of music, minimal sound fx and outdated graphics, controls - especially jumping - are so bad and clunky that it's nearly impossible to play. Instadeath if you touch an enemy, and when you enter some screens you just don't have time to avoid what's coming to you unless you know in advance.
