Zeppelin Games released some very fine budget games in their day and this Super Sprint variant was no exception.
Graphics and sound do their jobs well enough and its very playable either in single player but especially in two play mode.
Very nice.

A not bad Super Sprint style racer with nicely defined GFX and functional sfx. Can't complain at the price! :)

A superb "SPRINT" style racer with only one flaw having to wait for all the cars to complete their laps before moving on to the next circuit.

There are two faults with this game: 1) after you win, you'll have to wait untill the other computer-amateurs finished their clumsiness and 2) there aren't any indicators on screen informing you about what lap you're in and what damage you've sustained. Otherwise this is an enjoyable racer.

Carnage is a better top view racer than badlands.

Hehe! I programmed the original Amiga version of this game, and got paid UKP1000, which all went on booze at uni. Zeppelin did a PC & C64 version, but I didn't see any $$$ from them :-) Still, it's the best game EVER... Ahem.

The PC version of this was one of the first games I bought, and I still play it from time to time. The C64 version can't compare, I'm afraid, because the tracks are far too simple. Get the PC version if you can. Great Fun.
