While a Bomberman clone, it feels different due to your various modes of attack create different strategies.
Now, this is one game where I prefer the Amiga version. The detail in your character and enemies creates more visual interest. I felt more engaged.
Still, a wonderful C64 game has to be recommended and I'm looking forward to try the multiplayer.
A little on the easy side maybe but still superb stuff.
Probably Kingsofts finest moment.
But I have just played it and... Its good but easy. I made it too level 49 and never died once. The game crashed before the final level.
You don't even have to create an army to kill the enemies. Just use your thunderbolts and the game is a breeze. Big problem is the enemies are in eggs at first. You can blow them all up before they even get a chance to hatch.
Tip! Never try and collect more than 999 health points. It cycles round to 000 and almost kills you!
