I was amazed by this on its initial release. Its cemented itself as an all time C64 classic shooter in my book.
Difficult but far from unfair.
Looks stunning and the music is wonderful too.
Its great in single player but the simultaneous two is an absolute blast.
This one sorts the men from the boys :)
An essential C64 shooter.

Excellent Amiga conversion. It is even better than 16-bit original. Faster and less irritating.

Good conversion of the Amiga game and I had actually played and finished the Amiga version before I got this and was impressed at the time...

After some levels I understood why its rating is so high, this game is great and addictive, high gameplay, good music, good backgrounds and fantastic sprites animations, even better as you play it. Fantastic Psygnosis release.

Good game, good conversion from the 16bit version, but too late for the C64. Already in the Amiga era.

Want a shoot-em-up with multi-directional scrolling, big levels, varied graphics, tons of enemies on the screen at the same time, upgradeable weapons, simultaneous two-player action, and moody music? Then try this. The only disadvantage? It's very difficult. But for once, perseverance is justified.

I likd this on the Amiga, I ve never passed second level without trainer.
Thanks emulation Ive discovered the C64 version, and I must to say that I ind it slightly better than Amiga one in gamplay terms.
Its as hard as in Amiga but feels faster.

This games is hard... But good: If you like shoot-em-ups you'll like this... Sprite animation and overall graphics are excellent and I liked the sound too.. Blasting enough enemies and swooping to collect the money is a challenge.. Not for wimps... 8/10

I could never get into this on the Amiga, and that feeling was replicated upon playing the C64 conversion. It was technically impressive, for sure, but it was dreadfully dull to play - it felt like you were blasting your way through a scene demo, with all those swirling bobs and giant sprites whizzing through their standard geometric patterns. It was a great game to show off to your Speccy owning mates, but not so great to actually play. The C64 port is an incredibly accurate translation - the only thing missing is the Amiga intro featuring the digitised asteroids and the 'Where Is The Money?' theme tune (a shame as it would have been interesting to see how they went about doing it on the C64). The graphics and sound are first class throughout, but the gameplay just never takes off for me. But lots of other people like it, so try it yourself and see how you go. 6/10.

Classic. Good conversion of one of the best amiga shoot em ups.

Impressive graphics. Not easy, but then again, I was never any good at shoot'em ups.

Great to see folk enjoying this game, type "wemissed" on the titlescreen for cheatmode.
