A surprisingly cerebral platform adventure game which really needed some thought to complete.
Controls weren't the the best admittedly and it certainly wasn't a looker in the graphics department but I quite liked this game for some reason.
Persevered long enough to complete it so that has to say something given all the other games I had vying for my attention back in the day. Not much replayability once completed but it entertained (and frustrated) me for quite a while.
Worth giving it a go for free on an emulator these days just to see if its your cup of tea and to say you tried.

Most annoying controls in a platform game EVER.

The protection was just a "manual look up" codeword.

I really liked the original Dark Castle but the sequel had some massive copy protection that it seemed like no one could get by. I played it a few times before the disk no longer worked so I can't remember if it's any good. Long load times from what I can recall. This will be one to revisit.
