At least its better than Beach Blanket Volleyball but its no Kings of the Beach.

I wouldn't say this game is horrid, just rather bland and average at 5/10. It's still better than Beach Blanket Volleyball, but does not even begin to touch Kings of the Beach. BTW, the actual name is Beach Volley, not Beach Volleyball

Was this one released on its own for the C64 or was it bundled only part of the "Commodore Pack" compilation? Cant find this anywhere.

Not a complete failure: good to see and fun to play, big sprites and nice animations, but unfortunately gameplay isn't good as it must have been.

I aree, the Amiga version was so well done that people who didn't care about volleyball got hokked. Shame about the Commie version, then, could have been a minor classic as well.

the Amiga version was great but as so often - C64 is crap !
