The goal is to destroy two missiles, one on each side of the map. Gameplay is fun but the time limit is ridiculous. Impossible to beat this game.

Looked great, sounded fantastic and played really well for a budget release. In fact it wouldn't have looked at all out of place as a full priced title.
One for the arcade shooter fans to enjoy getting their teeth into but be warned, don't dawdle as the time limit on each level is not on the generous side.
7 out of 10.

Such a fun game! Very hard, but keeps me coming back for more! Maybe it's that tune...

Nice little game, and for the bargain price tag you can't complain.

Nice game, well executed.. Wouldn't have voted it so high if it was full price though.

but it was nice though =)

music was the most memorable thing though and the title screen demo effect =)

An enjoyable romp for a little while, nice idea where you control a tank and chopper to advance through the level. :)

I had a friend who stubbornly claimed that he had written this game himself and Wellard had stlen it from him. He was actually a very good C64 coder, and 15 at the time. Oh well good old days... Where art thou Mr. Parsi?

This game's great fun. Packed full of so much action. Appeared on the Commodore Format cover tape (17).

Where are they now?

Simon Wellard is now global head of design for Reuters (reuters.com), that's board-2. He seldom blows anything up any more.

This was a fabulous game. I'm astonished at its low score. It was great fun blowing things up with the helipcoptor, and then moving to a new base with the tank. Or was it the other way round. Still, for £1.99 it was an incredible bargain. It gets 10 in my book.

This has the realism and fantastic backdrops. But this game isn't too exciting.

This game has got the looks, very nice graphics and an excellent title-tune (and excellent sound FX) !!! You can toggle between heli and tank which keeps up the game-play, but it ain't that fun.

Nice game but could be better. Hint:
press space to stop heli, then with f1/f3 you can use the winch above the yellow frame on brick-mountain. Use the frame to close the gap in bridge. Btw when moving use the function keys to change speed.

Never could figure out how to get the tanks past the gaps in the bridges, but just flying around in a chopper and listening to the AWESOME music made it worth my while ( ;
