  • 7000+ new game screenshots.
  • 1900+ YouTube longplay C64 video links to games details pages.
  • 600+ logo images for game publishers/developers, ripped from 300/600 DPI scans or C64 game screenshots.
  • 800+ game entries now have tie-in license information, for example arcade/movie/book licenses. Also added reference links to Wikipedia and IMDb (Thanks Einar Saukas/ZXDB for getting us started).
  • Conversion links to games pages for Atari 2600/5200/7800, Atari 8-Bit, BBC Micro, MacOS, SNES and Thomson MO/TO.
  • External links on games pages to C64-Wiki, C64.com, MobyGames, UVL, CASA and CSDb. Also updated/re-validated all external links to Gamebase64, Ready64 and Wikipedia.

  • Now using AJAX for improved multitasking. Rate, comment, watch video, listen to music, etc on the same page without interruption.
  • Game Top- and Worst-lists can now be filtered by category or year.
  • Tightly integrated all LemonTube64 video reviews into the games pages.
  • Users can add games to their own Favorites och Completed lists.
  • Better logic for position of elements on games pages.
  • Prettier game URLs. How about '/bubble-bobble' instead of '/details.php?ID=377'?

Game Cover Scans

  • Thanks to the fantastic scanning efforts of Shocktrooper, Mort and Ultimate Tape Archive we managed to replace 1600+ front cover scans with 300 DPI images. We carefully re-touched all of these and kept them at full size for your viewing - and printing - enjoyment!
  • As for the remaining scans, for which we had no high-resolution replacement, we worked on careful manual retouching. For 4K/Retina users we applied the same Articifial Intelligence up-scaling techniques as used by Netflix and Disney to make sure these boxes look great for high-DPI users.

Game Magazine Scans

  • The number of magazine game ad scans have increased from about 800 to 1100+. ALL scans have been replaced with impressive high resolution scans. The scans have been carefully rotated, cropped, contrast/saturation adjusted and re-touched. Many thanks to Mort for the original scans.

Very good, just WAY too easy if you have the patience to kill stuff and upgrade your weapons! Like all Apex games, very polished.
