Your Top 5 Games

In they year 2000 Total 64 held a huge vote to find out what the C64 publics favourite games are.

The votes are in and here are the results!

Number 5 - Creatures

I thought that the more puzzle-based sequal would get in the top 5 but it was the original platformer which you chose. Fun gameplay and amazing graphics made Creatures your 5th favourite game.

Creatures

Number 4 - The Sentinel

In this strange game you have to build landscapes or something like that. I don't really like this game but it seems like everyone else loves it.

Number 3 - Magicland Dizzy

It's no suprise that a Dizzy game made it to the top 5. It was the most popular c64 game series in the UK and he had his own fan club. Magic Land came out top due to the additive game play, humour and catchy music. Simply the best!

Number 2 - Paradroid

At number 2 comes Andrew Braybooks highly original shoot-em-up Paradroid, despite the game having no music and very basic graphics, this game rocks the world of many commodore 64 fans.

Number 1 - Elite

49 of you voted for the brilliant 3D shooter Elite. This was one C64 game which actually managed to be 3D and still play well. It's a vector based game and is said to have led the path for many modern space games such as Lylatwars. Well done to Elite, the most popular C64 game in 2001.
