Boulder Dash is one of the top games ever made for Commodore 64. Its also one of the games that has been remade a lot of times for newer platforms. Find a flash game site, and you will surely find a copy of this game. But as always, the original is the best!
Boulder Dash is a remarkable puzzle game, a game you can truly become attached to. The game is even better playing it with friends, either helping each other completing the levels, or challenge each other to complete levels as fast as possible. The game can be played in both one and two player modes.
Every level has it own way to be completed, you have to figure it by yourself. This is what makes Boulder Dash so brilliant, a funny game where you also need your brain to complete it. This game has been a really influential game, made in 1984 it was the first game in this genre. There are a lot of games after this release that have taken things from Boulder Dash, as mystery, puzzle and arcade games.
Boulder Dash is one of those games that should be played by everyone. This game is a good enough reason for purchasing a Commodore 64.

Very similar design on all levels, but change of colours and the huge set of different level designs. That I have to give a huge + for!

Not as bad as people say. The main theme is both original and good. The effects are also good, which match the game. The sounds of stones falling down, diamonds crashing and door opens are all good.

Fantastic. I don't remember how many levels there was, but there was not too few.
Maybe too hard sometimes, and frustrating if you can't make it to the next level.
However a game you can (and should) play over and over again, full score here!

One of the greatest games of all time. Very original and challenging game. If we can talk about masterpieces in computer game history, this game is one of them.
