Mickey Mouse 1988, Gremlin Graphics
Mickey Mouse, published by Gremlin Graphics in 1988, was released for the Commodore 64 and Amiga. Normally I don't like games that includes figures like Mickey Mouse, Donald etc. but with this game I had to make a exception.

The game has good graphics, well designed and very detailed. The game has a mysterious atmosphere together with excellent SID music. I guess someone could find the music frustrating, but I think it matched the game very well, mystical and a little bit stressful.

The gameplay was okay, easy to play and easy to learn, however it only has basic moves and is very frustrating at times. On the other hand the game was challenging and wasn't that easy if someone would believe that. You had to get past different kind of ghosts and collect items, like keys that would unlock doors.

I still have good memories from this game. Maybe I think it was better than it really was, however I will recommend this game to anyone who owns a Commodore 64.

GRAPHICS - 7/10
Nice graphics, colourful and detailed.

SOUND - 8/10
Atmospheric and effective sound. Recommended for downloading.

PLAYABILITY - 7/10
Easy to learn, basic controls, but the game will become pretty hard after playing for a while. Only singleplayer though.

OVERALL - 7/10
Surprisingly good mysterious arcade game with Mickey Mouse as main character.
