Cops and Robbers 1985, Atlantis Software
You're a robber who's going to raid the Acme Diamond Company and the old mine (which is also full of diamonds). This job will be easy, you think, but there are cops who are very smart, choppers who are dangerously low to the ground, and ghosts who you can shoot in the mines. Yes, I know there are a few errors in realism in this game, but it doesn't spoil the fun.

That's the intro and the good stuff, now here's the bad stuff. The sound and graphics are deplorable. The sound isn't a Rob Hubbard or a Jason C Brooke, it's just sound effects, but they could have been executed much better. The graphics are laughable, they look like they've been done by a 7-year old, the cop in the game looks like a guy wearing a blue striped shirt and a coat.

This game was voted the worst game ever by the Zzap! 64 crew in 1985. As an experianced gamer, I've played worse games (check out the Cassette 50 collection by Cascade software, you'll see what I mean), this game maybe simplistic, but it's fun to play, and that's what I think counts.

GRAPHICS - 3/10
Let's face it, the graphics look like it's from an old ZX spectrum or VIC-20 game, but they serve their purpose!

SOUND - 1/10
It's Horrid!

PLAYABILITY - 7/10
The best part of the package is the playability, there's lots of it, but it's a bit tricky avoiding cops, choppers, and (at the mine) ghosts.

OVERALL - 4/10
It may be a poor game, but it's fun to play now and again.
