January 22, 2010 - TNT Calling all SEUCK fans and SEUCK game creators out there
Richard/TND has launched a new C64 game making competition, in which is to create your own game using The Sideways Shoot 'Em Up Construction Kit. The competition started on 17th January 2010 and submissions finish on 21st March 2010 then 21st April 2010 comes the voting phase, where a scoring votesheet will be added. Good luck SEUCKers.

VICE is the Versatile Commodore Emulator, it emulates the Commodore C64,
C128, VIC20, PET, PLUS4 and the CBM-II, as well as the C64 DTV, and it
runs on Win32, Unix, DOS, RiscOS, OS/2, BeOS, QNX, SkyOS, AmigaOS and
GP2X systems.
Most important C64 changes since the last version include
- ReSID's resampler has been optimized with MMX assembly. Some long-standing bugs in resample-interpolate mode were also fixed.
- ReSID-FP has been optimized, too. It clocks the analog parts at half the rate now, which saves CPU during filter emulation especially for 6581 modes.
- Added SFX Sound Sampler and SFX Sound Expander emulation.
- Added EasyFlash cartridge emulation.
- Added paddle emulation.
- Added lightpen/lightgun emulation, currently only available for the following ports: SDL, GTK+, cocoa, win32/win64 and msdos.
- Added support for the following userport joystick adapters: CGA/Protovision, DXS/HIT, PET (normally only used on the PET/CBM2), Hummer (normally only used on the C64DTV) and OEM (normally only used on the VIC20).
Music section has been rewritten again. In addition to updating HVSC to v50 browsing and searching got a bit faster and more user-friendly.
HVSC has also been properly integrated with game collection. About 300 new games got SID link, more than 150 games wait for proper music credits which were found when checking Lemon64 entries agains SID data. Games can have more than one SID link, and there is also new HVSC info link which shows SID info and other games using the same music.
June 1, 2009 - Kim Lemon Cloanto releases C64 Forever
Cloanto, developers of Commodore/Amiga software since the 1980s and creators of the famous Amiga Forever series, has introduced C64 Forever, a revolutionary preservation, emulation and support package.
C64 Forever embodies an intuitive player interface, backed by a built-in database containing more than 5,000 C64 game entries, and advanced support for the new RP2 format, dubbed the "MP3 of retrogaming".
The Lemon64 database now links to C64 Longplays (244 games), C64 Game Video Archive (194 games) and Project 64 (618 games). 578 games link to related games in the Lemon64 database. Have fun, and don't forget to let us know about faulty links!
