Rainbow Dragon-manual: In a land and time long forgotten, there existed weird and wonderfull creatures, with powers unknown. On such creature was Asturias, a flying, fire breathing magical dragon. He is trapped inside an old temple underground. He must destroy 10 chests to escape and overcome problems & obstacles blocking his way. But Asturias has 4 different spells with which he can detect magic, read magic dispel illusions and restore things. Guide Asturias out of the caves and use his powers to overcome obstacles. However, the old temple pilars are gradually cracking and will collapse, unless magical charges are used to repair them. Always light the torches in the cave to make things easier.
Use joystick to guide the dragon or W =up; X =down; A = left; D = right; RETURN = fire/ cast spell
Spacebar in either control options will activate which screen you need to play on: dragon movement within the cave or choice of spells and pilar repairs. Four spells are: magic detection (diamond); reading magic (scroll); dispell illusions (box & triangles) reveals hidden magic; Restore (staff), repair or clear obstacles. Where an ammount of problems is solved the dragon will be able to pick up objects which will help fixing the next problem. Pilars need continual repair. Each repair uses a magical charge, but every problem solved earns you one charge. Level 2 is more problems. Bar display: T = Time; C = staffcharge; E - Dragons energy; M = number of chests remaining.

I really liked the big dragon when I was (much) younger and the title music isn't bad at all. I never got anywhere though.

This was bizarre. The dragon looks good, but there was little gameplay. Not worth it.

The game seems to bear some potential. It isn't just a "flap around with old dragon to survive" game.. There were buttons, secrets, hidden messages, yet I have still to find them. Any link to a gamehelp would be appreciated.

What kind of shit was this?
It really dissapointed me back in the 80's, and so does now. Stupid big dragon trapped inside a cave located under 5 weak pillars. ¿?
