For once, a "sports game" that's really fun to play. Everything about this gem is simply brilliant. Fantastic music score. Wish there would have been a Hypaball II with a some more options and a league of different teams of varied levels of difficulty.

What the hell started the craze of replacing "er" with an "a" in so many games? (As in hypa instead of hyper, cracka instead of cracker, blasta instead of... Ok you get it)
I loved it and still do. It's fast and a lot of fun.
I often played this game just for the music. Thank you Mr Tinman. (Tinman even said he liked my remix : [www] )
So cool ! Play it 2 players, and you will get stuck to your monitor for hours.
My brother and I used to play this for ages... Probably the best 2 player sport-ish game on the C64... As much fun as the original mario brothers on the Atari 2600... I only wish I still had it somewhere...

Original, pretty, but very limited and repetitive. It's good to play for a couple of hours with a friend.
Great graphics and superb music & sound, but game-play and playablility is shit. Rather boring I would say, and I'm always right, right? (hello antichrist... Any amiga-emu yet???)
Like Mission AD another much overlooked pearl from Oin ... Its a futuristic Ballgame .. Plays great .. Great graphics, good sound ... IMHO the best in the "futuristic sports" genre ... Two thumbs up
I thing one of best sports games for 2 players with some part of nice music.
Gameplay is king in Hypa-Ball. It may look simplistic, but it's some of the best two player action that was available on the C64. Do yourself the treat and get a friend to play.
Great original gameplay, nice graphics, powerful music, fantastic 2-player experience. It's one of the best games for the C64.
Minimalistic to the bone, but one of the greatest gameplays ever. Still one of my favourites.
