Well then, having dug up all my old C= stuff out of storage recently and really getting back into it, I've found that I'm not the only one out there that still enjoys it. Good to see others!

I'm still "gathering" bits and pieces to get 100% up and running, and hopefully I'll be able to relive my roots; I got my first computer (C64) for Christmas '83.

I'm curious as to how many people were on Q-Link way back then as well. I remember hanging out in the Red Dragon Inn. Does this ring a bell with anyone? Or is it mostly "EMU" in here (not that it's a bad thing, quite the opposite).

Hi there and welcome to the forum!
It's defenitely not only emu here, most of us do still have a real C64.
As for your other questions I don't know coz I am from The Netherlands.
Anyway have fun while staying here.

Hello and welcome Ryandor. From what I gather there aren't too many q-linkers here in this forum. However, I think there's a Yahoo group of old Q-linkers, if you don't already know about it, you might want to give that a try. Here are a couple of links: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/qlinkreunion/
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/qlink_orphans/

Hope that helps and hope that you will keep coming back to this forum too.

Thunderer: Thanks for the links. I'll be checking those out!

jimatlod: I've gotten C64S to work ok. Nothing spetacular, but it works. And just for S&G I've gotten another C64 EMU (can't remember which) to run under an Amiga EMU! (WinUAE and Fellow) Very Happy

But the joy of having to bang on the Restore Key a few times is so satifying. At least for me. Wink
