Not a high score shot, but just for fun, my real C64 setup. CompaqLTE acting as a hard drive, yes that's a 2600 below. And the surround sound! IK+ in surround sound is cool. Thanks for the NTSC version link!
My high, after about 30 tries, is 31,000
It's only 17,000 in this shot

I've got nowhere to upload pictures from, so I don't iomagine I'll be taking part....
Anyway, after 2 goes I've got over 25000, so I imagine I'll be getting back to my old standards after a while, not that my old standards were too wonderful.... |

as far as I get this, only scores which were achieved in the given days are valid. or am I wrong?
made 44,100 yesterday. It's pretty whack to play this with joypad. |

I scored about 30,500 points last night, but I'm sure I can make it better, so I won't post any screenshots yet. _________________ Galileo Fígaro... Magnífico! |

I played with Winvice

I managed to beat my last high score last night. I could go higher, but I don't have the time at this moment. This is my last entry. 55000.
It's on the previous page. I accidently placed it over my first picture. |

Okay, after about forty quadrillion attempts this is the best I can do: 31,500 points. Nothing to write home about I guess. I told you I wasn't a very good arcade player

46,600 for me. I guess I won't be able to beat that for another two weeks so that's the score that I am going to submit.

I am afraid you're gonna have to click the link.
I used VICE v1.10 |

Both work Firefox but it looks like Geocities prohibits direct linking. So, just copy and paste the above address in the URL address bar. Sorry that's the only way I can submit my proof.
Keep on gaming people.
@Matt
Are we allowed to submit another score if we have achieved a higher score than the one already posted? |

Blackbelt! It's not the winner, but I just beat my best by 20,000... on my lunch break. I 'spect it's enough for an honorable mention!
52,100 on CCS64
IN THE ZONE BABY!!!! I WAS IN THE ZONE! WOOOHHH
Next to that gorgeous C64, doesn't that 17 inch flat screen look pathetic? The real C64 you see is not hooked up, it's a nonfunctional unit just sitting on my desk for style

Hey I love your set-ups, mate. I'm looking forward to find a job and a place of my own to cram into some room all of my C64 stuff.
BTW, yesterday I noticed I've lost some of my original tapes (Space Gun, E-Swat, Back to the Future 2, Winter Games and many others)! Damn it! I really don't know where they could be, since all my C64 stuff was packed and sealed for almost 10 years and I've just recently started to unpack all the games. Maybe they're still in some box lying around on the attic... and that would be a *bad* thing, since here, in southern Spain, it can get *very* hot on your attic in summer. Maybe too hot for computer tapes _________________

No, I'm sure your dark brother Enteras from Spigania knocked you down and took all your stuff.........

I'm amazed by myself!
113,600 (black belt, level 50)
game speed 3 (normal)
REMEMBER crack.
CCS64 beta at 100% speed.
played with keyboard.
Matt, I'll email you my screen grab, I hope you don't mind.
That's for sure my best score ever at IK+!
The strange thing with this game is that it's very fast on some levels (13, for example) but on higher levels it sometimes calms down a lot.
Dropzone (another Mc Lean masterpiece) is relentless and gets harder and harder and harder.
It would be another great game for a challenge. _________________ My top games: 1.Hawkeye, 2.Uridium, 3.Creatures II, 4.Delta, 5.Bubble Bobble, 6.Ikari Warriors, 7.Armalyte, 8.Bionic Commando, 9.Archon, 10.Buggy Boy. |

There are something like 30 levels in IK+, with the fighters programmed to different things on each. Sometimes they are faster and aggressive, whereas other times they'll just stand there and defend. With the former, it's usually best to try and 'survive' rather than win. (A good way to doing this is when the CPU players have 0 and 4 points respectively, then try and get hit by the one with 4--you'll draw and go on to the next round.)
After 30ish levels, the game wraps, but the speed goes up a notch. The same is true with the bonus level--the order of the balls is the same each time you play. Due to this, I used to be able to complete the first three bonus rounds in every game, but not with the keyboard and emulator! _________________
