You've gotta be kidding me
BLACK belt is easy on IK +, I find International Karate 1&2 more challenging. |

I play on a real c64 so I can't make screenshots but Black belt sure is easy. Like tony.rc said...IK is much harder... _________________ ! Press fire for Bubble Bobble ! |

Why not taking a version which features a highscoresaver ??? Then you play it on your C64 and save the scores to disk. Then transfer the game and highscorefile to the PC or whatever you have, load an emulator, start the game and make a screenshot ??? Well, just a idea... .. . _________________ Jack Alien / Remember |

I think that the highest score will be counted. So even if you obtain black belt you'll have to earn the highest score to be the winner. |

I'm not very good at IK+ and it tends to bore me a bit after a while (especially for the bonus stage).
But here goes my humble contribute.
56,400 black belt
[after some minutes of dumb tries] How the heck do I put the image here? _________________ My top games: 1.Hawkeye, 2.Uridium, 3.Creatures II, 4.Delta, 5.Bubble Bobble, 6.Ikari Warriors, 7.Armalyte, 8.Bionic Commando, 9.Archon, 10.Buggy Boy. |

Please post which system you got your scores on .
Mine was on Vice emulator.
I can't play it on a real 64 since all I can find is the pal version. |

I played TCS crack on CCS64.
I used the keyboard.
Speed set on 3 (normal).
I just read the FAQ about posting images, but I don't have any personal web page. _________________ My top games: 1.Hawkeye, 2.Uridium, 3.Creatures II, 4.Delta, 5.Bubble Bobble, 6.Ikari Warriors, 7.Armalyte, 8.Bionic Commando, 9.Archon, 10.Buggy Boy.

Gaaah! This is way harder on keys than with a joystick, especially the sub-game. Managed about 65,000 in Power64 running at 100% of PAL C64 speed and then the emulator quit when I tried to grab the pic. I used to get at least double that on a real '64... _________________ |

@vcjim: Well, if you're looking for a PAL/NTSC version of IK+, follow the WWW button below and download release number 200... this version features also an highscoresaver.
That's what the most groups have overseen, the original features already an PAL/NTSC checkroutine and works on both, PAL and NTSC. But unfortunately they had to overwrite the memory which sets the byte for PAL or NTSC ($02A6), so they copied the byte for PAL to this address! _________________ Jack Alien / Remember |

well let's stay fair shall we?
follow this link (thanks Jack) in order to download a decent version of IK+ (release 200): http://www.remember64.de/
you just need to post the screenshot which displays your highest score.
the competition ends monday evening.
what's more in prospect:
a new voting will start next tuesday and will last until friday.
(most likely games to vote on, will be the games that received most votings last time, fair enough?)
Note to the maintainers of this forum:
Can this thread be displayed on top of the General Discussions untill monday? Thanks!

I played this game a lot in the past, and now every once and a while. This is what I got: 47900.
You can get a lot of points with the bonus games alone. |
