|
|
Hi all,
I have an idea to make an Audio CD of SIDs, to be playable in a standard CD player. I will convert the SIDs to CDDA format, and create an ISO image which i intend to provide a link for people to download. I anticipate it to be like a GREATEST HITS SID album.
Therefore, i open it to you guys:
- Which songs should be included?
- Has something like this already been done?
I'd like to start by adding:
Wizball - Intro
Last Ninja 2 - First Level.
Your input is appreciated.
Regards, MAGNUMPI |

Been done as an MP3 archive but not as CDDA.
Amongst the usual stuff it's got to have tunes 2 and 3 from the game Dominator SID file. |

Doesn't have room for many full length SIDs.
But anyway, Ghosts 'n' Goblins is a nice one. |

C64Audio is selling a vinyl with SIDs on it now actually, they've gone one step further! Though you probably can't play vinyls in your car But there is a CD version of the same album. |

The list so far.... (in no particular order)
Bubble Bobble
California Games
Chimera
Commando
Ghosts N Goblins
Great Giana Sisters
Last Ninja 2
Maniac Mansion
Rainbow Islands
Spy vs Spy
Way of the Exploding Fist
Wizball
Some SIDs may need to be limited to 5mins (give or take) to allow to fit on the CD. Looking for more suggestions......Add or Remove any from the list? |

Is this list only limited to games music? It seems so thus far. How about from demo's? Or is there some sort of rights required for demo music?
Anyway, I do like the one from Crazy Comets. And a homage to Forbidden Forest would be nice to add too. Can't think of anything else right now. _________________ ~techie

Hey Technoid, this CD is limited to games music, but we can always do another for DEMO's. Your suggestions would be required here, cause i am not too familiar with the demo scene.
I'll add your requests to the list. Thanks for your input.

Thanks Kenz! I'll still be creating it for myself. If anybody is interested in a copy, let me know. |
