I've just completed my GameMaker website. For now there are only my own games up there but I hope to have more up in the coming weeks and months. The purpose of the site is to preserve and distribute amateur games made with Garry Kitchen's GameMaker (anyone remember that one?). Check it out and feel free to leave comments in the guestbook:

I remember Gary Kitchen's 'Game Maker' program. Some games were good, but most were poor. The best GM game I had seen so far had to be the one on CS 25 cover disk. I cannot remember the name of the game, but it is where you are going through the labrynth, having to find treasure, and keep an eye on the lamp oil. Quite enjoyable.
The worst? Most of 'em _________________ The New Dimension

A link to your site would be great. I can't read Spanish, so is there any GameMaker related material on your site? If it's just regular c64 games I'd rather not have the GameMaker games there, since they should be seperated from professional games (and many of them were never really completed either).
p.s. I received an e-mail from someone who gave me permission to post his GameMaker games. They are really quite cool and put mine to shame, so I'll be posting them in a few days.

If you cant read Spanish that is no problem, because it's hungarian. |

as viktor said, the site's in spanish, but it doesn't matter: most people don't understand either
as for the games: I collect and upload everything from commercial games to home-made levels for games (ie. boulder dash) or whatever I can find and is game related, so your gamemaker games will fit in there as well well, the finished ones anyway. btw, the only gamemaker related stuff there is the gamefiles themselves.
could you please mail me when you update your site? thanks! _________________

Yeah, it's that Hungarian branch of Spanish which I just can't understand |
sorry, my mistake! of course it should read "as viktor said, the site's in HUNGARIAN". _________________

Hey Brian... you've got a mistake on your site. The right hand picture on the "Pitfall" link isn't of the proper C64 "Pitfall", it's "Cuthbert in the Jungle", a clone that was banned eventually.
http://www.mayhem64.co.uk/download.htm
Go get the crt of "Pitfall" proper and try it out... much better than the crappy version from "Gamemaker"... _________________ Mayhem64 - for all your cartridge needs!

I had a feeling that wasn't the right one. It just didn't have that Activision look at all. Got it from c64.com under the name "Pitfall". All fixed now. _________________
