After the preview at RetroVision 2012 on 5th May 2012. The wait is finally over. I am very proud to present you a 1 program tape version of Trance Sector. This is a full game, and a deluxe disk + tape edition has been made for Psytronik Software. (I'll let Kenz tell you more about it when it gets released on to the Binary Zone store).
You are assigned to conquer the Cygma Elite's storage factory, known as the Trance Sector. Simply clear all radioactive pods from their storage facilities, but watch out for the high security seekers. One hit with those, or their explosions will penetrate your ship.

What a great little game. I'm loving the fabby music throughout, that includes the loading music. I had a quick blast and it's something I must have on my 1541u2. I look forward to its release in support of your good work _________________ |

A really a well polished game! I like the cinematic titling intro, a really nice touch. Great presentation and a fun game. _________________ |

Received the digital download and it plays well on the 1541U2. Great, addictive game. I think the music goes great with the game, but if you get tired of it (or listening to something else, like I do sometimes), you can turn off the music on the title screen between games with the joystick.
Looking forward to the actual floppy and packaging in the mail.
Thanks for a great game! _________________ @duhproject - Twitter |

I received my download
Everything works great for me in Vice., so I've put it on my 1541u2.
Problem.
Although the .tap image music demo loads fine as well as the .d64 image too, both the main .tap game and challenge edition does not. It resets back to basic after a few moments when into fastload, no loading screen or Please Wait message. I've also tried it without any emulated freeze cartridge activated, same problem.
Is this a hardware problem with a real C64 for the .tap image, or is it just not compatible with the 1541u2?
Fortunately I have the .d64 filie, but I thought I had better mention this. Does anyone else have the same issue?
Great game btw _________________ |

A great game, Richard, very good work! Appears to me like a game that had it's release around 1988...I especially like the music and the gfx-effect, when a level is completed!
Cheers _________________ My life without a breadbin would be

I have emailed Kenz to see if he can add the alternative tape images as well. So those who want to port the loader to a real C64 can do that.
Funny how those masters Daniel did actually worked on my 1541U2 as .tap image, but fail to work on a real C64 tape deck. _________________ The New Dimension

I will update the digital download file to include the alternative tape files as well. It's a shame Daniels loader doesn't work on real C64 hardware - I've tried everything but sadly the C64 will just not load it.
Edit: Okay, .zip file now updated - if you re-download it using the same link I sent you, you will find the .zip now contains three additional .tap files that should work on the 1541u2. _________________ |

Gotta say I bought the Premium Version of this on Disk last week and it is S U P E R B ! This and SUB HUNTER show what an amazing Programmer Richard is. The Psytronik Packaging is excellent too, a thoroughly Proffesional Product - Great Job Guys...
P.S. The Bonus Bits on the Disk are rather nice too, I Looooooooooooove BOMB CHASE 2009 - a Nice Update to an already good Game, This needs a Cartridge release through RGCD me thinks... _________________ o o Art Ravers - 1992 Onward...
