After an agonizing showdown between Amazon and the distributor of Commodore: a Company on the Edge, they have reached an agreement and made their books available on Kindle once again. This all started back in February:

The good news is Amazon is selling it at a discounted rate of only $9.99 off the regular $17.99 price. I don't know how long that will last, so get it while you can:

The ePub version is also available for other eBook readers, such as iPad or Nook.

Enjoy your summer!

Great news! I went to grab it from Amazon a little while ago but was unable to find it so I'll definitely grab it now.

That's good news.

Any advance word on the 2012 delivery of the Amiga years?

I have both, and yes, it is worth getting. Put it this way, the 2nd edition is the same size as the first but it only covers up to the C64. That is a lot more content.

Brian, just gotta say I got this book on the Kindle and I am about 1/2 way through. Great book so far. I never thought a history book would be so good.

Got the book when it was first released and read it.. amazing since I'm not a huge book reader. Might have to dig it out again.

I have the original of this book in hardcover... I don't read a heap, especially non-fiction but this book is absolutely awesome. A MUST HAVE for any Commodore fan. Though because of it I stalked Bil Herd and RJ Mical, who are now my Facebook friends. LOL
