I can't get 64HDD to work with my Commodore 128 in C64 mode. My setup is an old Packard Bell PC, A DOS 6.22 bootdisk and a XE+XM1541 Adapter in XE mode. I am using the -XE switch. My Commodore finds the device (device 9) but it gets stuck on Searching for $... It never does anything from here. I don't get the drive sound out of the PC Speaker. Am I doing something wrong? I have tried connecting my 1571 disk drive between the computer and commodore and and connecting the computer directly to the commodore and I get the same result. Please help. Thanks in advance.

I got it to work now by specifying my my CPU speed using +p 200. If your having this problem just use the +p and your exact cpu speed.
