When I saw the name I didn't know what it was, then I saw the screenshot and thought "Hell yeah I remember that one!" _________________ "Step one: Find plans. Step two: Save world. Step three: Get out of my house!" |

Screw it, I'll go first. What a bitch of a game. If you thought the no jump bug was bad in canabalt you're in for one hell of a thrill.
A miserable 1575
Lovely choice of colors for the score screen too.
At least it keeps the scores. I never liked the idea on real discs but for a D64 it's fine. _________________ Emulation is the sincerest form of flattery. |

Got this game on tape but can't get it to load.
Wanted to play it old-school.
EDIT
Had a bash, struggled to get 925. I remember this being much more playable.
I had a quick go at FP2 to see if that was the one I used to play. It's quicker and much more playable, but I'm absolutely certain it was FP1. _________________ "Step one: Find plans. Step two: Save world. Step three: Get out of my house!" |

I personally wouldn't be quite so harsh, but I'm going to sit this one out too. Had a few games and don't like it much. I'll devote any spare time to Uridium, Delta and Buggy Boy
Plus, I'm currently addicted to Munchkin (the cards game).
See you maybe next month, lads _________________

What a nasty game. Half of the rounds I never get to destroy one enemy.

It's a shame that a few of you don't like this game. Despite its faults, it was amazing in 1983. And for me, it's still quite playable.
I can understand why it's not liked though, it's an unforgiving bastard of a game.
My first score: 1650

Aw I love Munchkin - so many expansions! You tried the different versions of Fluxx? There's as many of them as there is of Munchkin!
You should also give Dominion a whirl. If you've ever played a CCG, you'll be well down with this game. _________________

This is a really hard one. Scored all the points with my first plane. The other two were shot down immediately.
On my first try: 925
But I remember it quite well and will give it another try this evening. At least 2000+ points shouldn't be too hard to get. |

This gets pretty exciting with four Migs attacking, being low on fuel and just one base left...
What i like best in the game are the sounds which are excellent imo. The controls on the other hand could be more responsive. |

I feel that we are going to have a low scoring affair. Although, very difficult, I quite like the game and I am amazed at the quality considering the year it was made.

Tough game, and what is it with the missile collision? I've lost count of the number of missiles that have passed through the enemy fighters. _________________ |

Anyone else think the refueling sound is a bit like the colour complete sound from Wizball? _________________ "Step one: Find plans. Step two: Save world. Step three: Get out of my house!" |

New score. 2450
Played it on the Xbox this time, joypad is a bit easier than the numpad on the PC. _________________ "Step one: Find plans. Step two: Save world. Step three: Get out of my house!" |
